Warren Paving was originally founded as an unincorporated proprietorship by Charles Warren, father of Lawrence W. Warren, during the 1950s.
In 1972, the company had 12 employees, with annual production of 20,000 tons of asphalt.
In 1986, the company installed a new asphalt plant in Petal, Mississippi, which increased annual production to 60,000 tons.
In 1991, the company relocated to a new site, south of Hattiesburg, installing a new state-of-the-art asphalt facility with annual production of 300,000 tons and employing 48 people.
