We ask that you keep car traffic off your driveway for at least 3 days.
If temperatures are real hot we ask that you try not to park on your drive for up to 5 days.
You may walk on your drive right away.
Your driveway will need 6-12 months to harden and cure.
It will remain soft and pliable until then.
Even after it has cured it will not be as hard as concrete.
Your driveway will soften and harden as temperatures rise and fall.
Please be aware of this in hot temperatures.
If you wish, you may water down your drive with a hose on hot days to temporarily harden the drive.

We have provided two reasons why we think asphalt paving with Gavers Pavers should by your choice for a new driveway.
In southeast Wisconsin we have found that asphalt driveways are less expensive to install than concrete.
Asphalt driveways will melt snow and ice much faster in the winter than a concrete driveway.
Concrete has a small advantage, concrete does not get soft in the sun which makes it a better place to park a motercycle.

Potholes form when puddles are allowed to stay on the driveway.
As your tires splash through the pothole the water carries gravel, sand, and other bits of road way out onto your car, and into the grass.
Every splash takes a little bit more.
As the hole gets bigger, the bigger the splash, the more gravel gets carried away.
And so on.
The quick fix is to shovel more gravel into the hole and tap it down.
However, this leaves that area less solid that the rest of the driveway, and in addition to the puddle that reforms, the loose gravel will just result in another pothole in the same place.
