Scott C. Rozier started his career at a young age building railroad tie and boulder retaining walls for his family's small landscaping company.
By 1991 Scott started building small residential retaining walls as SCR Contracting Company in the St. Louis area with ambition to make a living and perhaps become a successful wall contractor.
Starting his business with a rusty pickup truck, a few hand tools and a wheelbarrow, he ran this small business very manually by picking up a single pallets of block at a time, delivering them one at a time, unloading by hand, installing them and going back for more.

Modular block walls are dry-stacked systems that can generally tolerate movement and settlement without causing significant structural distress at the face because the modular block units may move and adjust relative to each other.
These walls are inherently flexible allowing minor differential movement without compromising the structural integrity of the wall.
This contrasts with more rigid retaining structures such as cast-in-place concrete and conventional mortared masonry walls.
ROSCH utilizes a variety of modular block systems, including but not limited to Omega, Venture, Versa Lok, Keystone, Allan Block, Rockwood, and Anchor.

In addition to traditional retaining walls, mortared limestone walls can be used to construct free standing pond walls and screen walls, and parapet walls and barriers are easily integrated or constructed.
This system is more water resistant than other wall systems, which means it can be constructed so that it provides a relatively watertight system.
Limestone is a native material in Texas and the Southwest region so it also provides a very cost-effective solution when stone materials are readily available.
