M.T. Laney Company was founded in 1978 by Melvin T. Laney with a 1978 GMC Tandem Dump Truck.
In 1989 Melvin and Michael Laney started a residential paving operation.
The operation started doing small driveways, common lanes, and repair work.
Since then with growth and the addition of multiple entities, the Laney Companies has grown to include major site development, municipal, industrial, and commercial grading and paving, soil modification, reclamation, recycling, aggregate supply, hauling services, and roll-off services.
