Each and every time you contact Champion you will speak with Don, the owner, who works on every job personally, or his daughter and office manager, Amanda. We are a company that is based on quality, honesty, hard work and customer satisfaction. We educate our customers about our different solutions and consult with them about possible driveway repairs to find out which option is best for them, for a long lasting solution.

Don Claxton was born and raised in Nashua, NH.
He is a single father with two daughters.
He began paving at the age of 17 for a small local company in Nashua, NH.
When the owner retired, he began working for larger paving companies in the area.
He started working at Mass Paving in Chelmsford, Massachusetts as a rollerman and was later promoted to the foreman.
Their work expertise included paving roads, parking lots and highways.
After working at Mass Paving for 12 years, he decided to make a career advancement to Newport Construction in Nashua, NH.

A new driveway will remain very soft until the liquid asphalt in the blacktop hardens.
Even after the first year, it can become soft in high heat.
It will become hard enough to drive on in roughly 2 days, possibly longer in very high temperatures.
You want to be careful while turning your tires when the vehicle is stationary, this can dig up the new asphalt.
You also do not want to park with your wheels turned; this can cause divots in the pavement.
Your driveway will continue to stay somewhat soft for several years, especially in hot temperatures.
