Hanley Paving has been Rhode Island's premier paving company for 82 years. Established in 1935 by Tom Hanley, a native Rhode Islander born and raised in Pawtucket, RI. In 1971 Tom Hanley took a young Stephen Holmes I under his wing and developed him into an expert paver. In 1979 Stephen Holmes I, also native to Pawtucket, RI purchased the thriving business from Tom Hanley as he settled into retirement.
Stephen built an outstanding reputation for high quality asphalt work. Nearly 38 years later it is now time for his son, Stephen Holmes II, born and raised in Seekonk, MA, to take over Hanley Paving. Stephen Holmes II has been an apprentice to his father for 16 years learning from one of the best in the business. He truly loves the work and prides himself and the business on delivering the highest quality job treating every one like it's his own driveway.
