A deck (Trex, Timbertech, Doug Fir) regardless of the type of deck boards used, they all require a Pressure Treated substructure.
We highly recommend Pavers, Concrete, or Stamped Concrete rather than a deck.
All 3 cost less than a deck, and will out last any deck.
