Can you repair an existing landscape, if it is torn up from the construction?

We'll put running boards down for a wheelbarrow path, rope or wrap-up a tree to prevent it from breaking, divert potential water run-off so it doesn't saturate the wrong areas or whatever we feel is appropriate to protect your property.
